Hi my name is Jennifer Gilley I started
"WHEELS FOR WHEELS" Why well I wanted to help Familys like my own. I was thniking one day why Handicap Vans cost so mush and I could not find any help to get one. We needed to get a Handicap Van for my son but we did not have the money to buy one, I tryed to find some help like with the state or Chairity but had no luck so I started WFW, One thing a Family with a handicap child needs the most is a Handicap Van and a Handicap Van is realy hard to get they cost so mush how can a Family buy one. I have 3 kids Lilly she is 7 yaers old Chirstopher he is 6 years old and Jacy he is 3 yaers old. Chirs has a Chromosome Abnormality (2.6 MB Duplication involving 15q13.3q14) know as 15qDuplication
I know hard to understand. Chirs has Developmental delay,
he can not Walk, Stand, Set-up for olny about 8 min, The olny wrods he can say is mama, sometimes baba and bubu. He has a feeding G-tube in his belly, He can not understand things like a 4 years old and more. I teach him Sign Language and he knows wrods like Mama, Dada, Baba, jump ,eat, and some more like need to know wrods. He has 12 words that he knows so far. Iam trying what I can to be able to understand him and what he wants or needs. My family is great with him and trys to help all they can. My little girl understands and loves to help with him sometims to mush. My boy Jacy doe's not understand yet. It can and will be very hard with a Dicsabled Child but I just want all the other parents out there to know that just because it will be hard alot, It also will be ok, just look up to God he will help you and if you dont know him well this is the time to start. I know it is hard but look at me and what I have done. I have a Dicsabled Child and I have SLE, Lups ,Seizures, and alot more Health Problems. But with all of this Iam takeing care of 3 kids one of whom is a Dicsabled child, Started and Runing this Chairity, Modeling, Working and going to school, and mush more.!! And when pepole aks me what is the hardest thing to go throuh with your son. I say Knowing he has never seen my face and I realy just want to hear him say I LOVE YOU MOMMY, Jennifer Jarman
